Message from the President

Welcome to our new independent website for Texas Nurses Association District 18, servicing Cochran, Crosby, Dickens, Floyd, Garza, Hale, Hockley, King, Knox, Lamb, Lubbock, Lynn, Lockney, Terry, and Yoakum counties. It has been our dream to move into a more relevant mode of operation for today's nurses, and incorporate the surrounding counties along with Lubbock as we work to fulfill our mission.

Now that the website is up and our webmaster is ready to post, you will start to see many additions and improvements as the year proceeds. The ongoing and incoming officers will be doing strategic planning in June to determine methods of fulfilling our functions and serving the community through the use of this website.

We will strive to make this site very interactive, and find ways for members to be involved even when they are unable to attend meetings. We will entertain suggestions from the membership on how we can improve the effectiveness of our website. Stay tuned as the ideas flow and our strength grows.

It will be my honor to serve you as President of District 18 for the next two years.
